While I was on Twitter I came across an inspiring story of a man in Houston, TX named Jeremiah Richard. Jeremiah and is six year old son were being interviewed by a reporter from ABC 13 Houston, moments after being rescued via helicopter during Hurricane Harvey.
If you are a person that complains and pouts about your situation, this man’s joy and thankfulness is surely a testament of how we should think, speak, and act during the storms of life. Righteousness has to do with the revealed Word of God; whether written or spoken (Romans 1:17). A young person must strive to follow the Lord’s path more so than anything or anyone else. In so doing, he or she will experience God’s favor, kindness, justice, and grace daily.

Some youth and teens under the age 15 have greater attention issues and behavioral problems. Why? A study shows the reason is from spending too much time on smartphones playing games and interacting on social media.
According to The Daily Mail, “Experts believe it is because technology encourages children to flit between tasks which makes it harder for them to focus in the real world.”
How we behave leaves a lasting impression. How we behave also shows others what we think about ourselves and what we think about those who have shaped and molded us.
What are you known for? Is your reputation giving glory to God or is it embarrassing to Him? Are you known as a slacker or someone that is about business? Are you known for being a servant or selfish? Are you more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus or just a cry baby?
We must take time to evaluate our self and improve our reputation. Or as someone said back in the 90’s, “Check yourself before you wreck yourself”.
