Wisdom For Today

Don’t Even Worry About It

Some young people waste too much time and energy on things they can’t control or change. Wise young men and women understand that there are some things in life that are just uncontrollable. Do what you can then spend your day being free. Enjoy life. Solve other problems. Improve yourself. Go to a movie. Take yourself out to eat. But when it comes to things that are bigger than you, let God be God and….don’t even worry about it.

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Don’t Quit!

Some young men and women give up too easily. It is easy to quit. But it is never worth it. Ask yourself these three questions when you feel like giving up in life:

1. Is quitting what God wants me to do or is it what I want to do?

2. If I quit now what is my reward?

3. Can God perform what He promised me in His Word?

Don’t quit!

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Hope In The Lord

Fear often tries to attack and defeat young men and women of God from pleasing Him. But courage is necessary to be who God desires you to be. God will always empowers those that desire to fulfill His Word. Always expect God to show up in a mighty way despite what you go through or despite whoever opposes you. Hope in the Lord. He never disappoints. -Pastor JB

“Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.” Psalms ‭31:24‬ ‭NKJV‬

Our Guide

Jesus is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful. Therefore He is the best guide for young men and women. Allow Him to direct your steps today and forever. Remember, He has thoughts of hope and a future for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Be wise. Be a trendsetter. Acknowledge God and allow Him to guide you.

“For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.”
Psalms‬ ‭48:14‬ ‭NKJV

Divine Protection

Despite what a child of God sees or regardless of what is happening in society we must know that God will and does sustain those who place their trust in Him. The safest place a person or a family can be is covered by the blood of Jesus and sheltered by His Word.
